Records for yourdomain.com
Publish these at your DNS provider
TXT@v=spf1 include:mxroute.com ~all
TXT_dmarcv=DMARC1; p=none; rua=mailto:dmarc@yourdomain.com; fo=1; adkim=r; aspf=r; pct=100
TXTx._domainkey<paste the DKIM public key from your mail host>
Rules that matter
One SPF record only. If the domain already has a `v=spf1` TXT, merge the include into it instead of adding a second record — two SPF records is a hard fail.
DKIM: In the MXroute control panel (DirectAdmin) open Email Accounts → DKIM and copy the generated TXT record for the x._domainkey selector.
Start at p=none. Read the aggregate reports in Deliverability for two weeks, confirm 100% alignment, then move to quarantine.
Never cold-email from your primary domain. Use lookalike domains with their own records so a burn never touches your main brand.
Propagation is usually minutes; Next Day Mail rechecks continuously and unblocks the mailbox on its own.
